IRENE GOODNIGHT: Every New Year's eve,Eric vonSchmidt (a great painter,folk
singer and son of the famous western illustrator Harold von Schmidt),used to
host a fabulous party that always culminated in everyone singing the best
"Goodnight Irene" you ever heard. The guy at the right wearing the cowboy
hat is Chance Browne who draws "Hi and Lois". The red -faced guy (too much
Jack Daniel's by the end of the party) is our host Eric.
