KING PEST: When my house burns down,this is the picture I snatch off the
wall and run into the yard with...then it's back in the house for the wife
and dog. This is the best picture I've ever made. It's an illustration for
one of Edgar Allen Poe's comedies called King Pest. It's an abstract picture
that contains the fat sailor,the skinny sailor,their girls and various odd
types that populate the highly satiric tale. The skeleton that's hanging
down the center was a macabre candelabra with a fire in the skull.
